The Beach House introduces a new and unique experience in short stay accommodation which we describe as ‘home living’. If the idea of a spacious apartment with all the comforts of home seems like a dream, then these ‘seaside themed’ apartments, carefully crafted specifically to the needs of the short stay guest with uncompromising attention to detail, will be sure to pleasantly surprise.

The Beach House compromises of 3 bespoke and individual apartments. 

The ground floor apartment Seashells is a one bedroom apartment with its own private entrance, enclosed white washed patio for alfresco dining. Seashells can accommodate 4 guests, one double bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area, shower room and spacious open plan living, dining & kitchen area. 

The top floor two bed room are spacious and comfortable apartments offering views to the South Downs and city centre. Accessed via internal stairs each has its own private entrance.

Driftwood accommodates 4 guests in two bedrooms, the master bedroom can be made up as either super kingsize bed or 2 3' wide single beds, the 2nd bedroom offers bespoke seaside themed bunk beds, shower room and large open plan living dining & kitchen area. 

Pebbles which is the largest of the 3 apartments offers a large entrance hall, separate kitchen, bathroom with bath & shower, the master bedroom can be made up as either super kingsize bed or 2 3' wide single bed, the 2nd bedroom is UK size double bed.

All three apartments have recently been completely refurbished, all appliances are brand new, hotel quality beds, down and feather duvets, and fine Egyptian cotton linen 

Located on the seafront side of the Town Centre just 100 yards from the doors of The Beacon shopping centre (formerly The Arndale Centre) ,and within a 5 minute walk to Eastbourne Railway station and main bus hub, The Beach House is also only 500 yards from the beach, and the pier.

The Beach House is also only a five minute walk to the Devonshire Park Area, home to the Internationally acclaimed Towner Art Gallery, Devonshire Park Theatre, Congress Theatre, Winter Garden, and Devonshire Park Lawn Tennis Club. In the other direction, to the east, The Royal Hippodrome Theatre is also within a five minute walk. The Beach House is a privately owned secure gated complex, with a fully enclosed car park. Guests travelling by car and wishing to explore the local area benefit from a wealth of locations to suit a comprehensive range of interests. Eastbourne and the surrounding areas are served by a number of very well respected golf clubs, which are playable all year round due to the chalky structure of the South Downs.

The Beach House is therefore the perfect location for your short stay whether for social, leisure, business, or professional purposes.

Great place to stay in Eastbourne

I booked this apartment very much at the last minute - and luckily the booking was accepted . Do note there might be delays for bookings made on Sundays! The price is slightly misleading as it includes a refundable deposit of £100, making the property initially appear more expensive than it actually is. The apartment is yards from the centre of Eastbourne - and is also only a few minutes walk from the beach and pier. There's a Co-op within 5 mins walk, and a Sainsbury's and Tesco Express 10 mins away. Access to both the property and parking is initially via passcodes and you are supplied with a remote to open the gates for the car to park. Drift wood is on the second floor, but there is no lift. The three flats are on a one way street so if driving be sure not to overshoot the entrance otherwise you're in for a little lap around the town! The photos are accurate and give a very good impression of this light apartment Advantages. • Located a few yards from main shopping area with plenty of public transport links • Own courtyard with seating • Allocated car parking space within gated area • All usual facilities such as good wifi, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, cooker, fridge and small freezer • Also present, iron, ironing board and clothes airer • Clean • Good communications when booking • Supply of tea, coffee etc plus some toiletries Minor downsides • There is muted traffic noise which might disturb some • If four people use the apartment then clothes storage options would be limited • It would have been nice to be told once I’d left that everything was in order and my deposit was being returned in due course, rather than it just reappearing on my credit card! In conclusion this is an excellent addition to the local holiday rental options and I'd happily return next time in the area.
